Streaming Video

Alverno's collection of streaming video can be found on the college's Media Library server.

The Media Hub can digitize DVDs or VHS and load them to the server. Digitized video can remain in the Media Library server for up to 30 days. Exceptions apply for video with purchased streaming rights. 

Contact the Media Hub with any questions.


To place an item on reserve, contact the Library Liaison for your subject area.

Reserves Guidelines (PDF)

Reserves Request Form - Help us save trees, please submit electronic form. Paper copies are available for pick up in the library.

NOTE: Items listed as course textbooks are automatically placed in our Open Reserves Textbook Collection and given a checkout period that best serves students based on class size and cost of book.

NOTE: Items on physical reserve are intended for STUDENT USE. Faculty are expected to return reserve items promptly.

Theses Approval Forms

  • Alverno graduate students have the option of submitting a copy of their capstone, thesis, or dissertation to the library, where it will be stored on our servers and made available to Alverno users who wish to access it.
