Prepare for the ASWB Exam

Unfortunately, there aren't many websites that offer free ASWB review questions. For comprehensive sets of questions, ASWB books are a good choice.

For tips on test preparation and registration, visit ASWB: Association of Social Work Boards

Another good site to help you prepare for the ASWB exam is SWES: Social Work Examination Service

BadgerLink provides access to online practice ASWB exams. These practice exams are free to Wisconsin residents but require that users create an account.   Click here to access the Social Work exams.  You will be prompted to register for an account once you select a practice exam.

Information for Alverno Alumnae

Getting an alumna library card:

  • Graduates who have earned an Associate, Bachelors or Masters degree from Alverno College are eligible for a library card. Persons who have successfully completed a certification or recertification program at Alverno College may also be eligible for a library card.
  • Alumnae may apply for a free card in the first year after certification or graduation. After the first year the annual fee for a library card is $10.
  • Applicants must complete a library card application form (and show a photo ID) at the library's Help Desk.
  • Application forms may be mailed to applicants at their request. Checks should be made payable to Alverno College.

The card entitles alumna to:

  • Check out books from the Alverno Library collection (including ASWB books).
  • Request books and check out books from other SWITCH libraries.
  • Access Alverno Library databases from within the library.

Due to licensing restrictions the Alverno Library cannot provide off-campus access to databases for Alumna or Courtesy cardholders.

The card does not allow alumna to log into the Alverno computer network. If you are an alumna and need to use a library computer, ask at the Help Desk to be logged in as a guest.
