Bella Way or the "Main Street" of Founders Hall first floor

 

"Bella Way" was established as part of the 2013-2014 Promise and Power campaign to create a student service main street on campus. This integrates and connects student resources into one central location for ease of access. Found on "Bella Way" are Admissions, Academic Advising, Business Office, Financial Aid, Center for Academic Excellence, Registrar's Office, Student Affairs Offices, Center for Belonging, and the Career Studio.

The Student Services Main Street was given by Filippa DiBella Weber or "Flip" as she was known. She was one of the first women to serve as a director at Harley-Davidson, and during her 42 year tenure there she served in a variety of  corporate and manufacturing human resources roles. In her retirement, she continued her passion for mentoring business people, especially women. Upon graduating from Alverno in 1992, she became one of the college's staunchest advocates particularly when it came to supporting students.She was an active member of the Alumnae Association Board for many years. She left an amazing legacy for students with the creation of "Bella Way."
