Alverno Then & Now

Exhibits Created by Debra Butz, Archives Assistant

I greatly appreciate the care and creativity of Debra Butz, former Archives Assistant. Over the years, she created numerous wonderful exhibits that were installed in the display cases adjacent to the Rotunda in the Sister Joel Read Center and other places on campus. Her notes for the following exhibits were invaluable for the creation of this exhibit:

  • Celebrating 130 Years of Innovation in Education 1887-2017
  • What's in a Name? the Names and Places of Alverno College

Modern Photographs Used in the Exhibit

I wish to commend the work of  Alexandra Dittrich, Archives Student Assistant extraordinaire. Many of her photographs of current spaces found on the Alverno College campus were used throughout this exhibit.
